Angel Beats! - Angel Beats!

Angel Beats! is set in a mysterious afterlife high school, where deceased teenagers are sent to come to terms with their regrets and unfulfilled desires from life. The world appears as a typical Japanese school, but it’s a liminal space between life and death. The story primarily follows Otonashi Yuzuru, who wakes up in this afterlife with no memory of his life. He soon encounters a group called the Afterlife Battlefront (SSS), which fights against the student council president Tenshi (Angel), whom they believe represents a cruel system controlling their fates. The narrative combines comedy, action, drama, and supernatural elements, exploring themes of regret, acceptance, friendship, and letting go.
